Sirloin tip roast does not actually come from the sirloin section of a cow. It comes from the round section directly to the rear of the sirloin section. It is a nice cut of beef that is tender enough to be an over roast or can be enjoyed as a marinated steak or kabob meat.  Here is our favorite recipe at Grassland for a wonderful Sirloin roast for dinner:

  2. Preheat oven to 350°; Rub all sides of roast with rub.
  3. Roast 1 hour or until internal temperature reaches 145°. Remove from oven and let sit for 15 minutes.  Slice thinly and enjoy!
